Show off your skills at the EWN Pre-Conference Networking Event. Take this chance to get to know the attendees & vendors before kicking off the conference.

EWN Outdoor Tradeshow & Exhibition

1PM – 6PM

Join EWN as we show off the latest technology, equipment, and vendors in the energy sector – down on the track of Texas Motor Speedway. While you are viewing all the vendors’ setups & equipment – attendees will be flying around the track at 165MPH. This day will be a one-of-a-kind experience, you do not want to miss out.

Opening Night Reception

6PM - 8PM

Network with the best in the industry down in the garages of Texas Motor Speedway. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks and fellowship as we get ready for an invigorating event. What a better way to kick off the conference than down on the track enjoying a unique experience. Whether you are a NASCAR fan or not, this venue is a treat.

We kick off our main day with a lead-in from EWN’s CEO, Coleman Sterling. Coleman will be highlighting what to expect from this year’s conference at Texas Motor Speedway while welcoming the crowd as we move into an exciting day.



Opening Keynote: Dr. Todd Dewett

Show Your Ink: Understanding the Need for Authenticity in Professional Life

Dr. Dewett will be bringing his unique style to the EWN Conference and teaching conference-goers how to manage change and lead others in the process. Todd is a dynamic speaker with a ton of character, whose content resonates with attendees long after leaving an event. He is a motivation veteran, with years of accolades & experience including a Ph.D. in Management, 10 years of teaching experience, numerous awards, TEDx speaker, Inc. Magazine’s Top 100 leadership speakers and clients including: Exxon Mobil, GE, State Farm, Ernst & Young, LinkedIn & more. You will not want to miss Todd’s opening keynote.



The Changing View of Education: Mayra Maese

An In-depth discussion with a panel of industry professionals

Mayra Maese leads the EWN Education Team, but also drives innovation and the overall methodology of the EWN course content. Mayra has a knack for finding the best way to drive home a message, proven in the success of the EWN courses and Education team. Ms. Maese will lead a discussion regarding the changing view of education and how we as trainers must find new and innovating ways of delivering content. A panel of industry professionals will give their unique perspectives and working examples of how EWN has helped shaped their programs to achieve success.



Mobility/Technology in the Field: Lauren Morton

An In-depth discussion with a panel of industry professionals

Lauren Morton plays a vital part in bringing Mobile Technology to the industry and ensuring we are ready for the ushering in a new era in the compliance industry. Lauren was an integral part in designing the ground-breaking EWN Mobile Application and will dive into what to expect in our industry as we move in an exciting time of mobility. A panel will assist in showcasing “real world” examples of how mobility is the new frontier of technology in the industry. This session will quickly educate those on what to expect and how to manage mobile technology in an ever-changing industry.

Midday Keynote: Dr. Andrew Urich

Harnessing Influence

Dr. Andrew L. Urich is an entertaining and thought provoking communicator that helps people to perfect their influence, negotiation and thinking skills. An Oklahoma State University Professor, Dr. Urich has given well over a 1000 presentations since 1993 to companies such as Phillips 66, Chesapeake Energy, QuickTrip, Tyson Foods, Halliburton and the USAF, Urich is a proven speaker that will leave you itching to implement his techniques & changes immediately upon leaving the conference.



The Need for Portability & A Model Program: Geoff Isbell

An In-depth discussion with a panel of industry professionals

Geoff Isbell (EWN's President) is actively involved in numerous industry groups, and in crafting EWN’s compliance solutions that ensure our clients are up-to-date with the changing regulations impacting our industry. Geoff has a vision for a Model Program, and is an advocate and change agent for helping the industry ‘raise the bar’. By spearheading both portability and model program movements, he has been changing the landscape of not only EWN but also the compliance industry. This panel discussion will set the groundwork for future successful programs – it is a must for any leader or program director with compliance responsibilities.



Closing Kenote: Chad Prather

Have a laugh with the unapologetically southern humorist

Many are unaware that internet sensation Chad Prather has both Oil & Gas and Safety in his background. Bringing humor to an industry that may often be considered dry – Prather is sure to deliver his fast-paced delivery of storytelling to the EWN Conference. Chad is down to earth, introspective and will make you want to live life to the fullest. Whether it is music, comedy, motivational speaking or a combo of all three – he believes everyone has a story to be told.

Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks and fellowship as we rub elbows with the industry’s finest and “talk shop” one last time. A fantastic way to wrap up the main conference day and reflect on everything we learned and plan to implement.
